Pensacola Off-Road Cyclists - was born in March 2000 and consists of recreational mountain bikers of all ages and all riding skills. The club's primary objectives are to enhance the sport in the Pensacola area and to ensure that existing trails are kept open for all mountain bikers, but especially for club members.

Canoe Trails

 

Blackwater River Canoe Trail - This 31-mile canoe trail flows through the Blackwater River State Forest.
Blackwater Heritage State Trail - This is a 7.0-mile, pleasant trip for the whole family with lots of access and safe riding.
Chipola River Canoe Trail - Begins at Florida Caverns State Park, where you can explore the intriguing network of caves and formations made by droplets of mineral water. This beautiful trail flows through river swamps and hardwood forests of beech, magnolia, oak and dogwood. Beaver, alligator, and turtles are sometimes seen on the river, and pileated woodpecker can be heard drumming in the forest.
Coldwater Creek Canoe Trail - Because it is spring-fed, the shallow water is always pleasantly cool. The sandy bottom and broad sandbars will remind you of the sugar white sands of nearby Gulf Coast beaches. A brisk downstream current helps carry you past pine and hardwood forests.
Sweetwater/Juniper Creeks Canoe Trail - The 11-mile Sweetwater/Juniper Creeks Canoe Trail is officially designated as part of Florida¿s Statewide System of Greenways and Trails.
